No, you don't need any formal experience. All you need is the willingness to help and a kind heart. Whether you're a first-time volunteer or someone who’s been active in community work, we’ll guide you and place you in a role where you can make a real difference. Orientation and support will be provided.

Yes. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. If you're under 18, we ask that you're accompanied by a guardian or part of a school/community group. We love welcoming youth volunteers, and we'll make sure the role is age-appropriate and meaningful.
Where is volunteering based?
Where is volunteering based?
Most of our volunteer activities are based at ABH facilities in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. This includes our elderly care centres, children’s homes, and Victim Empowerment Centre. Some short-term event volunteering may also take place at community venues or public fundraising events.
